WELCOME TO NIMALI ILAROI HOUSE

Nimali Ilaroi House is an exclusive-use safari home in northern Tanzania, offering complete privacy, sweeping views across the Maasai Steppe, and a deeply personal safari experience within a private 10,000-acre conservancy.

Nimali Ilaroi House

Location

Perched at 4,025 feet above sea level, Nimali Ilaroi House overlooks the sweeping Maasai Steppe from its private 10,000-acre conservancy, approximately 160 kilometres south-east of Arusha and within easy reach of Tarangire National Park.

Its elevated hilltop position offers remarkable views, complete seclusion, and an immersive wilderness experience. The conservancy supports a rich diversity of wildlife, including lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, and a variety of antelope species.

The skies are equally vibrant, with guineafowl, lilac-breasted rollers,
bee-eaters, owls, falcons, and exceptional birdlife throughout the year.

Conservation,
Sustainability & Community

At Nimali Ilaroi House, sustainability is woven into every aspect of the guest experience.Working in partnership with the local Maasai community, we support wildlife conservation, education, and community development through our conservancy model.

One hundred per cent of conservation fees are reinvested locally, helping to protect the landscape while creating long-term benefits for the people who call it home. The house operates entirely on solar power, harvests rainwater, and eliminates single-use plastic water bottles.

Additional initiatives, including sustainable beekeeping and indigenous tree planting, help restore habitats, support biodiversity, and safeguard this remarkable ecosystem for future generations.
